Harrow Valley Community College isn't real. Its people, phone numbers, addresses, policies, programs, and documents are invented. Phone numbers use the fictional 555-01xx range, and office email addresses end in .example, which can never belong to a real site.
Why it exists
This site was built as a teaching artifact for The Neuroaccessible Environment, a workshop at Finger Lakes Community College on using AI to design for sensory, executive function, and communication diversity. The practice documents in the workshop all come from Harrow Valley, and here they are in the places a real college would post them.
About the programs
The academic programs and faculty are made up, too. A few nod to famous fiction: an archaeology professor named Henry Jones, and some very slow, very old trees. The printed schedules of classes are styled to look like 1990s printouts, but they're real HTML tables, so screen readers can still read them.
